Garden should have elements of nature in it to attract birds, butterflies and other animals.

Some gardeners like to put birdfeeders and other structures in their gardens in order to attract birds. Gardens that have elements of nature in them are more likely to attract these animals.

Plants need proper soil, water and light to grow - take into account their needs when choosing plants.

Plants need soil, water, and light to grow. In order to take these needs into account when choosing plants, it is important to consider each plant's specific needs. For example, some plants require soil that is rich in nutrients in order to thrive, while others may do better in a lighter soil. Likewise, some plants may require more water than others, and still others may need more light than others. It is important to pay attention to all of these factors when choosing plants for your garden or home.

Garden should have a place for relaxing, contemplation and enjoyment.

A garden should have a place for relaxing, contemplation and enjoyment. It can be a peaceful oasis in the midst of city life or a fun place to spend time with friends. Whether you want an outdoor space to grow plants or just someplace to relax in, a garden is an ideal spot.

Plan your garden around trees that provide shading and cooling breezes in the summer months.

Planning a garden to take advantage of the shade and cooling breezes offered by nearby trees is an important part of summer gardening. Some trees that can provide both shade and cool breezes are maple, ash, elm, birch, and locust. Planting a garden around these trees will help to conserve energy in the summer months and keep your plants cooler and more comfortable.

Choose perennials that will bloom throughout the year, filling your garden with color and fragrance.

There are perennial plants that will bloom all year long, filling your garden with color and fragrance. Some great choices include cardinal flowers, irises, lilies, poppies, and rosemary. These plants are easy to care for and will reward you with months of beauty.

Create a naturalistic landscape by blending in plants that grow naturally in your region.

In my region, there are a few plants that grow naturally and I thought it would be fun to merge them into a landscape. I chose some plants that can add some beauty to an area and help with natural air purification. Some of the plants I used in the landscape include bluestem grass, chickasaw greenbrier, wild geranium, prairie coreopsis, and Virginia creeper. These plants are all commonly found in my area and can help create a natural look to the landscape. I also added some trees to the landscape. One of these trees is the bur oak, which is common in the Midwestern United States. The other tree is the cottonwood, which is also found throughout North America. The combination of plants and trees in my landscape gives it a natural feel that is perfect for an area like mine.
