Gardening is an art - every flower, bush and pot has its own story to tell. Some old pots can tell stories of when they were used as flower vases, while other pots may have seen better days as water containers. No matter how old or new the pot, it is always interesting to learn more about its history and what it has seen in its past.

If a garden is well-maintained, it will be a haven for all sorts of creatures. Bees, butterflies, and other insects will be able to found shelter and sustenance, while birds will find plenty of food. There are many plants that can teach you about nature. For example, a conifer tree like a pine will teach you about climate. In winter, a pine will be covered in snow and have smaller needles. During summer, the needles will be green and larger. The bark on a pine is also different depending on the season. A summer pine may have less bark, while a winter pine may have more bark. Some plants can also teach you about your garden. For example, an iris plant will tell you about seasonal changes and what to do to prepare for them. Iris plants grow quickly in warm weather but slow down in cooler weather. Iris plants also bloom differently during different seasons - for example, they might have yellow flowers in the summer but white flowers in the fall. Plants are great teachers because they can show you what to expect in your environment and how to take care of things so they will last longer. By watching plants, you can learn a lot about nature and how to care for your own garden.
