In order to help recycle the organic material you collect from your garden, you will need to build a compost bin. To do this, first gather all of the materials you will need: a wooden or plastic box that is at least 12 inches wide, at least 18 inches long, and 3 to 4 feet high; a tarp or piece of cloth to cover the box; and some earthworms. To build the compost bin, you will first place the box on the tarp or cloth so that the top of the box is level with the surface. Then, sprinkle enough earthworms over the top of the box to cover it evenly. Finally, add more earthworms if necessary to ensure a good layer of bedding for the plants in your garden.
